Community Impact

Consistent with its Position Statements and Mission, Vision, and Purpose Statements, the Junior League of Jackson uses an Issue-Based Community Impact Model to select and evaluate its community projects. This model requires the League to identify critical community needs and to place its volunteers and project funds exclusively or primarily in those areas to maximize its effectiveness in improving the community.

The League has identified the following community needs:

Our three impact areas point to one common goal: increasing the high school graduation rate by addressing the issues of improving school readiness and student quality of life. By focusing our efforts on these three key impact areas, the League can help make a meaningful and measurable difference in the lives of those we serve.
