The Junior League Jumble is the ULTIMATE rummage sale! It’s your opportunity to get a steal of a deal on great furniture, home décor and other household items. It’s also a way to help others as your patronage helps the Junior League of Jackson fund more than 30 community projects and initiatives in the Jackson metro area.

Our sixth annual Junior League Jumble will be held January 30 and February 1, 2020. The fabulous bargains begin with our VIP Hour and Reveal Party on Thursday evening, January 30, where ticket holders can take advantage of exclusive access to the best merchandise before general shopping begins. The bargain hunting continues Saturday morning, February 1, with early access to steals and deals at our Peek & Purchase event. General Shopping for rock-bottom bargains rounds out the ultimate rummage sale. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

ANNIE CUMBERLAND ELLIOTT, 2017-2018 COMMUNITY VICE PRESIDENT

The Junior League of Jackson is focused on improving the lives of children and their families in our community. Each week, our volunteers can be found working with our community partners to increase the high school graduation rate through projects focused on early literacy, children’s health, and the social development of children. We are reading to children, providing healthy food, mentoring teenagers, and more, as our members provide more than 50,000 hours of volunteer work to our community each year.

Our focus areas allow us to center our work around the critical needs of children in our community that we can best address, and we value our many community partners who guide our work and help us discern the best ways to be a positive influence in our metro area. Although many of the League’s projects focus on making a difference in the lives of individual children, the League’s work has also resulted in many projects that benefit all children in our metro area and beyond, including our children’s hospital and children’s museum. Additionally, our community benefits from the League’s efforts to develop the potential of women and promote voluntarism.

We hope that children of our city will thrive, both in this year and in the years to come, and we are doing our best to make that hope a reality.
