When old barriers within a League are removed, new community relationships are formed. The Junior League of Jackson was recently awarded the AJLI 2018 Diversity & Inclusion Award. JLJ’s work through training and strategic planning empowered their League to train and develop their members in ways to create an inclusive environment from the ground up.
The Junior League of Jackson’s gift includes a $400,000 donation to the Campaign in May 2017. Since then, JLJ committed an additional $600,000 toward the Campaign’s philanthropic goal of $100 million.

Serving our community is a year-round focus of volunteers with the Junior League of Jackson. Volunteers focus their efforts in several key impact areas, including early literacy, teen pregnancy prevention, nutrition, physical activity, and social and emotional wellness.
