Community Fund Application

The Community Assistance Fund (CAF) was established to allow the Junior League of Jackson (JLJ) to respond to funding requests received from the community throughout the year, and the Community Discretionary Fund (CDF) was established to allow JLJ to respond to unexpected community partner needs throughout the year. During their monthly meetings, the JLJ Board of Directors and JLJ Community Council carefully consider CAF and CDF requests.

To be considered for funding, agencies must complete an online Community Fund application at least 60 days before their funding need. Agencies can only request funding once per JLJ year (June 1 through May 31). Due to the number of requests received, recurring requests will not be considered. When completing your budget for this application, please remember that JLJ does not pay ongoing salaries or stipends or administrative and overhead costs; however, JLJ funds may be used for guest speakers, etc., hired specifically for the proposed funding request.
