Sustainer Projects

With more than 1,400 Sustainers in our membership, support from our Sustainers significantly strengthens the League’s mission. Additionally, the Junior League of Jackson’s Sustainers contributes to the League’s financial stability, continually offers opportunities for Sustainer development, and meets significant needs in our community through the following community projects:

Feed-A-Family

Sustaining members provided home-cooked meals to families living at the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson.

Rockin’ and Readin’ Mamas

Volunteers provide loving, non-medical support to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at UMMC.

Joyful Noise

Volunteers perform musical medleys for tri-county area nursing homes, senior living residents, and memory care facilities, sharing the joy of music through cheery costumes and tunes.

Eudora Welty House and Garden

Sustaining members provide work as house docents and as garden volunteers.
